Once again the Musée Marmottan is showing masterpieces from a private collection, this time the exceptional collection the Hahnlosers gathered together at their villa near Zurich, the Villa Flora, between 1906 and 1936. Many of these works have never left Switzerland before.
Our guide will enlighten us on the works of Vallotton, Bonnard, Vuillard, Redon, Matisse, Maillol, Renoir, Manet, Cézanne and VanGogh that have been lent, and the friendship the Hahnlosers established with many of these artists.
If you do not know this gem of a museum, this is the perfect opportunity to visit, you may also view Marmottan's permanent collection, which is the largest collection of works by Monet.
